Videos of Gage and Gaven

Hey there!! I am finally getting some videos posted so you can see how big Gage and Gaven have gotten!! We measured them yesterday and Gage is 40 in. and Gaven is 32.5 in! They are growing so fast!! I am really excited about Easter tomorrow. It was so much fun last year with two but it will be better now! I have to work during the day, which is a bummer, but I got them matching Lightening Macqueen shirts (that's from the movie Cars that Gage really likes!)

Chris and I had a really fun anniversary last weekend! We stayed overnight at the Anniversary Inn downtown on Sunday night. We had the South Pacific room. Our bed was in this little grass tiki hut thing, and there was a jetted tub that had a water fall, it looked like it was in some rocks. They had sparkling cider and cheesecake waiting for us. In the morning they brought us breakfast to our room at the time that we asked for it. It was so relaxing and just nice to be the two of us, since we don't get any time together anymore. I will post pictures of our room, but Chris took the camera to Idaho this weekend!

This video is of Gage and Gaven watching the movie cars. Gaven is walking around and dancing in this also and Gage tells a little about cars! Gaven has no shirt on because he made a huge mess at dinner! He looks cute with his budda belly!

This second video is of Gage singing No Shoes No Shirt No Problems! Well I have to go to work now so I hope you enjoy these!

Samantha's Easter Dress

Ok, so I just did this whole thing and was previewing it and samantha turned the surge protector off!!! Such a bummer, I know how you feel now mom!! Anyway, so I have to hurry and redo this, so hopefully it will make sense:) Anyway, I need help deciding on shoes and ribbons for Samantha's headband for Sunday. So, please let me know what you think!!

This is her dress and the two different shoes I have. Since its going to be cold, she'll have to wear white tights, or else I'd probably just choose the sandals, but I'm not sure how they'll look with tights. But, as you can see, the shoes are a darker pink, but they sort of match the little flowers on the band of the dress. So, what do you think??

Here's Samantha modeling her pretty hat:) She won't be able to wear it to church though...thus the need for a headband!!

Here are the ribbons I have for the headband. I actually have a pink satin one like the white one above, I just forgot to put it in. So let me know what you think. I'll be using two ribbons and the actual headband will be white. I have a picture below of another bow I did, and it will most likely look similar, since that's what I know how to make!!

Here's the first dress we picked out. Just thought you may want to see it mom, since you looked at them at Children's Place. Anyway, it was a tank top, so we had to buy the sweater too, which made it double the cost of the other dress, so we of course chose the first. They're both really cute though!!

Here's the example of a different bow that I did. This is two sundays ago. Isn't she so cute!! Hehe, I'm not biased or anything. I love that little face she's making, sooo cute:)

Anyway, any help or suggestions would be great!! Jon always tries to help, but I can tell he's looking at my like, "I have no idea" hehe, plus, he'd probably like a break from my pestering. Anyway, I love you all and hope you have a GREAT Easter!!

Finally!!!!!

Here I am writing finally. The last two times I started my computer (at work) just shut down in the middle, so this time I am using the laptop I have that is not conntected to the hospital's internet system. They are very picky as to what is done on the internet.
I loved watching the video of Samantha walking!! She is adorable! I hope we can get together soon! I can't wait to go to Utah at the end of April for the graduation and to pack Lauren up and bring her home! A girl back in the house. I'm not really complaining, Steven has been really great and we've gotten to know each other so well. I'm sure he wishes that somehow there could be another boy in the house! It is spring break here this week. I wish we could have gone to Hawaii or something great like that! Oh well, not meant to be! Instead he gets to work a lot and I'll try to get him doing some of his scout stuff and Naval Academy stuff. He needs to beginn the process of getting a nomination from a senator or congressman. Can you believe he is already at that point? I can't!
I'll try to come up with a book we can read and also answer the questions posted by Steph and Britt. Am I supposed to respond right on the page where you posted them? I'm not sure, so I'll send this and try that out. If it doesn't work I'll send another response.
I love you guys. Thanks for all the phone calls from all of you. You don't know how much they mean to me!

Do you think that Jacob will imprint or do you think he already has?


I am not going to answer this question until I see other peoples thoughts on the subject because I am curious.

Also I expect Steph to also answer her own questions some time!!

Book Club

Ok, it's me again:) So, Britt and I were talking awhile ago, and we thought it may be fun to have a little book club with the girls in our family (boys are welcome to join too, but be warned we may read girly books!). Anyway, we thought we could use the blog to do our discussions, and that way, we can all do it on our own time. Anyway, I think its worth a try. I know Lauren and Shell may not have as much reading time as the rest of us, but we can make it pretty relaxed. We'll do one book a month and if someone is to busy that month, they can just skip it, or if we all are we can decide to postpone a month. Anyway, I think it could be a lot of fun!! So, I thought we'd start it out with the Twilight series, since we've all read them. I know we've talked about them a lot, so if you think of any new and exciting questions, please please post them. I've been trying to think of some, but since I've never been in a book group, they may not turn out that great. So anyways, here are a few, and then you can just post your own reply to them, or comment on others. Also, we'll need some ideas for books if you guys want to try and do the book club, so let me know!! Love you all:)

1.Probably the most important.....Jacob vs. Edward?? What do you think about them, which should Bella choose, why???

2. Who is your favorite character from the book and why??

3. How do you feel about Bella?? Do you like her?? Do you think she's mature enough for these decisions?? (I know some of you feel strongly about this one, mom ;)

4. Do you think Bella should try and tell her parents about becoming a vampire?? Why or why not?

5. Any guesses on what will happen in the next book?? Will they get married, will Jacob remain a wolf?? Will Bella finally become a vampire??

6. Do you think Bella should become a vampire now, or should she wait and go to school etc, like Edward wants her to??

7. Do you think Bella's clumsiness will go away when she becomes a vampire??


Ok, so I know some of these are similar, so you don't have to answer all of them, and again, please add more questions if you can think of them, I accidentally returned the book I had my questions in back to the library, soooo I know there are better questions out there!! Love you guys!!

Sorry its been so long!!

Well, I'm going to try and attach a video of Samantha walking and some pictures. This video is from the beginning, so she's a much better walker now:) She easily out runs us when we try to crawl and get her. It's lots of fun!! We've been doing pretty well, nothing too exciting going on. We are hoping to maybe go to Jon's mission reunion in the beginning of April, so hopefully it works and we can see Britt and fam and Laur. So we'll keep you updated :) At Samantha's last check-up she was 19lbs and 31.5 in. So she moved up to the 15th percentile in weight which is good and she's still in the 75th percentile from height. So, she's getting really big, and we're having lots of fun getting to know her personality. We love you all, and we need to plan the next time we're going to see everyone!!

Ok, so I can't figure out how to turn it, sorry!!!! if anyone knows how, let me know. If not, I guess you'll just have to turn your head, hehehe, sorry!! Here are some pictures too :)

SAMANTHA IS WALKING!!

Well, I know most of you know by now, but Samantha is walking all around! It's been so much fun. She's been walking for the last couple of weeks, but only a couple steps at a time, but the last 4 or 5 days she has just taken off. She walks everywhere now. Once she learned how to stand up anywhere in the room, rather than using a wall or table or something, it gave her a new sense of freedom and she decided she wants to walk everywhere. It's been a lot of fun! She's turning into such a little girl. She can say tons of words, some new ones are socks and nose. She knows where her nose, eyes and ears are. She loves to dance and shake her little hips while standing. She's getting pretty good at doing it without falling down, so when you play music, she goes crazy. She also likes to try and clap while walking. We're having a good time watching her grow. We took her to the BYU v Airforce basketball game last week and she had a blast. She clapped almost the entire game, only stopping to dance and kick her legs like crazy when the band played. It was sooooo cute!! That's the exciting stuff going on here in the Springs. We realize that our lives would be pretty boring without her....she brings the excitement into it :) I'll try and post pictures soon, sorry I know I said that before, but I want to get some of her standing/walking before I do. We mostly just have video of it now. Hopefully you all are doing well!! We're jealous that mom and britt and laur are all together!! We wish we were there:( Love you all!!
